AI commerce startup ShopOS, backed by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, has launched Sloosh, a self-service platform that lets individual creators, designers and small businesses generate AI-powered images and videos. Paid subscriptions start at $19 per month.
The launch opens ShopOS’ creative technology to customers who may not need its managed services for larger brands. The company aims to make visual content production more accessible by bringing multiple AI models, reusable workflows and batch generation tools into one platform.
Ajay PV-Led ShopOS Takes AI Tools Beyond Enterprise Clients
Founded by Ajay PV and Sai Krishna V K, ShopOS develops AI tools and services for ecommerce brands, covering product catalogues, marketing content, pricing and other commerce operations. The founders previously built Scapic, an augmented reality and AI commerce startup acquired by Flipkart in 2020.
ShopOS developed Sloosh after smaller brands and independent creators expressed interest in using its creative technology without committing to enterprise service retainers, co-founder Ajay PV.
The platform is being made available globally and targets creators, photographers, designers, video editors and small businesses that need a steady supply of visual content.
Spaces and Spacelab Aim to Simplify Content Creation
Sloosh combines third-party AI image and video models in one workspace. Users can generate content from text prompts and templates, while its reusable workflows are designed to reduce repetitive work.
Its key features include:
-
Spaces: Ready-made workflows that users can run repeatedly with different inputs.
-
Spacelab: A visual canvas for building and modifying creative workflows.
-
Batch generation: Tools to create multiple images and videos through a single workflow.
-
AI integrations: Model Context Protocol (MCP) support for compatible AI assistants, with further integrations planned.
The startup is also introducing an Adobe After Effects plugin and says users can seek help from human creative experts for more complex projects.
$20 Million Funding Supports ShopOS’ Wider AI Ambitions
ShopOS raised $20 million from Binny Bansal’s investment vehicle, 3STATE Ventures, in June 2025 to develop its products, expand its team and onboard brand partners. The company has said it serves around 30-40 brands in India and a smaller number in the US, with US contracts worth approximately $500,000, according to the supplied report.
Sloosh is currently part of ShopOS, although Ajay PV said the company may consider restructuring it depending on how the platform grows.
The launch gives ShopOS a route to reach customers beyond enterprise ecommerce teams. While its managed-services business combines AI tools with human review and delivery, Sloosh lets users operate the creative tools themselves.
The challenge will be turning early interest into regular paid usage in a competitive market for AI image and video generation. Reusable workflows and integrations may help differentiate the product, particularly for businesses that need consistent creative output rather than isolated AI-generated images.
