Enterprise AI startup RapidCanvas has raised $29 million in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, taking its total funding to $52.5 million. The round also saw participation from Hitachi Ventures and existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures.
The fresh capital will support the company’s go to market expansion, deepen partnerships with private equity firms and advisers, and strengthen its AI engineering teams across India, the United States and Brazil. RapidCanvas also plans to invest in platform development and governance.
The funding comes as enterprises look beyond AI pilots and experiment with deploying AI applications in core business operations. For businesses, the challenge is no longer just building AI tools, but ensuring they work reliably, securely and consistently in production.
- RapidCanvas Focuses on Moving AI From Pilots to Production
RapidCanvas combines an AI platform with specialised AI engineers who build applications around customers’ business processes and remain involved after deployment.
The model aims to bridge the gap between AI software and its practical implementation inside large organisations. Rather than leaving enterprises to integrate and manage applications on their own, the company combines technology with engineering support and accountability for deployment outcomes.
“Vibe coding has made it easy to start building with AI. Getting AI into production reliably and safely still remains the biggest gap,” said Rahul Pangam, cofounder and CEO of RapidCanvas.
The company is positioning itself around this execution challenge, as organisations seek measurable business value from their AI investments rather than isolated proofs of concept.
- 75+ Enterprises Have Used Its AI Applications
RapidCanvas said more than 75 enterprises across manufacturing, financial services, retail, business services and infrastructure had made 1.4 million AI led decisions in 2026 so far.
The company’s business model combines software with implementation expertise, targeting organisations that may have the resources to invest in AI but lack a clear route from experimentation to operational deployment.
Vertex Ventures SEA & India general partner Piyush Kharbanda said the company pairs its platform with engineers who take responsibility for outcomes across the deployment process.
- Why the Funding Matters
$29 million round highlights investor interest in enterprise AI businesses focused on implementation rather than tools alone. While generative AI has made it easier to develop prototypes, integrating AI into established workflows requires reliable data, governance, security and ongoing oversight.
RapidCanvas’s next challenge will be to scale this delivery model across markets while demonstrating that its applications produce measurable business value. Its expansion across India, the US and Brazil will test whether the combination of AI software and specialised engineering can grow efficiently across different enterprise environments.
