Enterprise AI startup Shamrock AI has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Endiya Partners, with participation from Capria Ventures, as it looks to help large companies deploy AI agents across critical business operations.
The company's first institutional funding round will help product development, team expansion and go-to-market efforts as businesses move from experimenting with generative AI to deploying autonomous systems in production.
Founded in 2026 by Sarat Addanki, Michael (Mick) Gallagher and Anuraag Nallapati, Shamrock AI is developing an agentic assurance platform designed to help enterprises deploy AI agents reliably across complex business processes.
The company is headquartered in Shillong, Meghalaya, with offices in Hyderabad and San Francisco. It says it already serves multiple Fortune 500 customers, including a Fortune 100 AI hardware manufacturer and a Fortune 100 healthcare company.
- Building a Trust Layer for Enterprise AI
AI agents can do more than generate content or answer questions. They can interact with software, retrieve information and carry out multi-step tasks. However, deploying them in business-critical environments raises questions around accuracy, accountability, security and whether their actions comply with company processes.
Shamrock AI aims to address these concerns by connecting business processes, data and enterprise systems through an assurance layer that helps organisations validate AI-driven workflows before relying on them at scale.
The distinction matters for companies considering AI in areas where errors can have financial, operational or regulatory consequences. Enterprises need to understand not just whether an AI agent can complete a task, but also whether it does so consistently and within defined business rules.
For Shamrock AI, the commercial challenge will be turning that requirement into a product that fits existing enterprise technology environments and demonstrates measurable value to customers.
- India to Anchor Product Development as Shamrock Targets Global Markets
Shamrock AI plans to keep 70-80% of its workforce in India, while building client-facing teams in the US. It also intends to expand into the Middle East as it pursues enterprise customers across international markets.
Its initial focus includes automated testing for major enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformations, including SAP S/4HANA migrations. These projects involve complex business processes, making it important to validate that systems continue to work correctly as companies upgrade or replace core software.
The funding gives Shamrock room to deepen its technology and expand customer acquisition. Its progress will depend on whether it can demonstrate reliable results in demanding enterprise environments, where purchasing decisions often involve lengthy evaluations and high expectations around security and accountability.
For India's startup ecosystem, the company represents a growing category of enterprise AI businesses targeting global customers from Indian engineering centres. Rather than competing solely on AI models, Shamrock is focusing on the reliability and validation required to put those models to work.
