Rahul Bhatia is an Indian billionaire businessman and the cofounder and Managing Director of InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, India's leading airline by domestic market share. Born in 1960 in Nainital, Uttarakhand, Bhatia grew up in Delhi. He completed his schooling at Modern School, New Delhi, and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada in 1984.
