Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd (OFSS) reported a 29% year on year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 702 crore for Q2 FY27, while revenue increased 7% to Rs 1,907 crore. The financial technology company’s net margin widened to 37%, supported by higher operating income and continued demand for banking software and digital financial services solutions.

The company reported revenue of Rs 1,789 crore and net profit of Rs 546 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to the figures supplied. Operating income rose 25% year on year to Rs 911 crore.

Oracle Financial Services Software Q2 FY27: Key Highlights

  • Consolidated net profit: Rs 702 Cr, up 29% year on year.

  • Revenue: Rs 1,907 Cr, up 7%.

  • Operating income: Rs 911 Cr, up 25%.

  • Net profit margin: 37%, an increase of six percentage points.

  • Services revenue: Rs 191 Cr, up 15%.

  • Remaining performance obligation (RPO): Rs 7,211 crore, up 14% year-on-year.

The RPO figure represents contracted work yet to be recognised as revenue. It provides visibility into future contracted business, although the timing of revenue recognition depends on delivery schedules and contractual terms.

H1 FY27 Revenue Rises 38%, Net Income Jumps 78%

For the six months ended September 30, 2026, Oracle Financial Services Software reported consolidated revenue of Rs 5,032 crore, up 38% year on year. Operating income increased 77% to Rs 2,772 Cr, while net income rose 78% to Rs 2,118 Cr. Products revenue grew 41% to Rs 4,652 crore, and services revenue increased 11% to Rs 380 crore.

However, the first half growth figures need context. In the June quarter, the company recognised Rs 935.3 crore in licence revenue under an agreement with an existing customer, alongside Rs 19.1 crore in other income. That transaction contributed to the unusually high year on year growth reported for H1 FY27.

Banking Deals Support Demand for Financial Software

During the quarter, a US based bank expanded its investment in Oracle Banking products, while a French bank signed an agreement covering digital banking, supply chain finance, trade finance, payments and corporate lending.

The company also reported agreements with financial institutions across markets including Mexico, the UK, Italy, India, the Philippines, Bahrain, Myanmar and Vietnam. The deals covered banking applications, risk management, financial crime prevention and compliance solutions.

Oracle Financial Services Software provides technology products and services to banks and other financial institutions globally. Its business includes banking software products and services that support implementation, consulting and related technology needs.

Managing Director and CEO Avadhut Ketkar said the company’s domain expertise, software portfolio and advances in AI powered capabilities were helping it respond to financial institutions’ changing needs. CFO Manish Bhandari highlighted the company’s operating and net margins as indicators of financial performance and operational efficiency.

What the Results Mean

The quarter shows a stronger increase in profit than revenue, with operating income up 25% and net income up 29%. The 37% net margin and Rs 7,211 crore remaining performance obligation also provide useful indicators of profitability and contracted future work.

For investors, the key is to distinguish the quarter’s 7% revenue growth from the much faster first-half growth, which was influenced by a large customer-related licence transaction in Q1. Future results will help show how consistently the company can grow its core products and services business.
