AI-powered advertising technology startup AdGraam has raised Rs 3 cr in seed funding led by Umair Mohammad, co-founder of Nitro Commerce. The Bengaluru-based venture plans to use the capital to expand its team, strengthen sales and marketing, accelerate international expansion and develop its creative intelligence platform for global markets.
Co-founded by Ashish Verma, Saad Mohammad, Sahil Bhatnagar and Saksham, AdGraam is targeting a persistent challenge for brands and agencies: producing enough effective advertising creatives to keep pace with digital campaigns, without allowing production costs and turnaround times to escalate.
The platform brings competitor research, creative ideation, AI-powered advertisement generation, campaign performance analysis and creative iteration into one workflow. Alongside its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering, the company operates a managed studio for brands that want outsourced creative production and execution.
- AdGraam Works With More Than 40 Brands
AdGraam says it currently serves more than 40 brands across footwear, fashion and apparel, hair care and wellness, oral care, and beauty and personal care.
The company has also reported results from a footwear campaign in which a single AI-generated video scaled to approximately Rs 40 lakh in media spend and delivered around 3.7x return on ad spend (ROAS).
The example suggests that AI-generated creatives can be tested and deployed at meaningful campaign scale. However, ROAS measures attributed revenue against advertising spend; it does not establish profitability by itself. The result is company-reported, and details such as the campaign period, attribution method and comparison with conventional creative production have not been disclosed in the supplied information.
AdGraam’s combined software and managed-service model may help it serve customers with different levels of in-house marketing capability. The longer-term test will be whether it can turn individual campaign successes into repeatable results across brands, products and audiences.
- India’s Digital Ad Market Creates Room for Creative AI
The funding comes as advertising budgets shift towards digital channels and performance-led campaigns. The Dentsu–e4m Digital Advertising Report 2026 projects India’s advertising industry will reach Rs 1,30,416 crore in 2026 and Rs 1,40,001 crore in 2027. Digital advertising expenditure rose 19% in 2025 to Rs 71,621 crore, while e-retail advertising grew 55.86% to Rs 17,601 crore.
For AdGraam, this creates an opportunity to connect creative production with measurable campaign outcomes. Its challenge will be to show that its platform can consistently improve creative testing and efficiency, while competing with established international tools and broader AI platforms.
The company is positioning itself as an India-developed alternative to global creative technology products, including Higgsfield, Freepik and Pencil AI, with a focus on Indian brands and audiences. Its international expansion will test whether that positioning can translate into demand beyond its home market.
