Smart kitchen appliance startup Beyond Appliances has raised Rs 110 crore ($10.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures. Dharana Capital and other investors also participated in the round.

Founded by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil in August 2024, the Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the fresh funds to expand its product range and build a new manufacturing facility.

New Manufacturing Plant in the Works

Beyond Appliances currently operates two manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, with around 90% of its products made in-house.

Founder Eshwar K Vikas said the company is now looking to set up another plant in South or West India. The move is expected to support the company’s growing product range and manufacturing needs.

The startup also plans to enter new appliance categories. It is preparing to launch ovens within the next 9-12 months, according to Vikas.

Building Smart Kitchen Appliances

Beyond Appliances is focused on connected kitchen products such as smart chimneys and smart hobs.

Its flagship product is an Android-powered smart chimney with a built-in display that works like a kitchen management system. Users can watch OTT content, listen to music, set cooking reminders and manage grocery lists through integrations with Zepto and Blinkit.

The chimney also comes with Chef Verse, an app offering recipes from chefs, along with 3D suction technology.

The company has also launched its Cube Chimney, aimed at compact kitchens and rental homes.

Beyond Appliances Expands Offline Presence

The startup follows an omnichannel sales model, with around 60% of its products sold online and the rest through offline channels.

It currently has a presence across around 20 selected retail stores in Bengaluru and serves about 1,200 customers across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune & Delhi NCR.

The company says it is now rapidly expanding its offline network, with around 300-400 customer touchpoints across general trade, alternate trade and exclusive outlets.

Its target is to reach 1,500-2,000 touchpoints after signing partnerships with several large-format retailers.

Beyond Appliances currently operates three exclusive stores, with another 15-20 stores in the pipeline.

Rs 40 Crore Revenue in FY26

Beyond Appliances recorded net revenue of Rs 40 Cr in FY26, according to founder Eshwar K Vikas. The company did not disclose its profit or loss for the year.

The latest Series B round comes around a year after the startup raised $4 million in Series A funding, also led by Fireside Ventures with participation from Dharana Capital.

Key Numbers

  • Rs 110 Cr - Series B funding raised
  • Rs 40 Cr - FY26 net revenue
  • 1,500-2,000 - target customer touchpoints

Beyond Appliances is now looking to scale both manufacturing and distribution as Indian consumers spend more on modern kitchens, home interiors and connected appliances. With new products, more stores and a new manufacturing plant in the pipeline, the startup is aiming to build a larger name in India’s smart kitchen market.
