D2C silver jewellery brand Unniyarcha has raised Rs 10 crore in an early-stage funding round led by Sauce VC, with participation from Consumer Collective Atrium. The company plans to use the funds to strengthen its branding and marketing, expand manufacturing and supply chain operations, and launch new product categories.
Founded in 2021 by Divya Nambiar and Pulkit Bhat, Gurugram-based Unniyarcha designs and manufactures traditional and modern silver jewellery in-house. The brand currently works with 70 artisans and manages its own manufacturing process, giving it greater control over product design and production.
Unniyarcha offers a wide range of products, including necklaces, earrings, bangles, pendants, and men’s jewellery. The brand sells mainly through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) website and online marketplaces. It also uses quick-commerce platforms to reach customers and make its products more accessible.
The company’s website contributes around 50% of its total sales, while quick-commerce platforms account for 45%. The remaining sales come from e-commerce marketplaces. These numbers show the importance of its own online store and quick-commerce channels in driving business growth.
With the fresh funding, Unniyarcha aims to expand its product range and strengthen its operations. Increasing manufacturing capacity and improving its supply chain are among the company’s key priorities as it prepares to grow its business.
The investment comes at a time when silver jewellery is gaining popularity as an everyday fashion choice. According to Sauce VC partner Yash Dholakia, India’s silver jewellery market is estimated to be worth $3-4 billion and remains largely unbranded, creating opportunities for brands to build stronger connections with consumers.
Unniyarcha operates in a competitive market alongside established brands such as Shaya by CaratLane, Giva, and Palmonas. Starting as an online-first silver jewellery business, the company continues to expand its reach through its official website and major e-commerce marketplaces.
The latest funding marks another step in Unniyarcha’s growth journey as it looks to strengthen its brand, expand production, and reach more customers in India’s growing silver jewellery market.
