Ahmedabad-based pet care startup TailBlaze Longevity has raised $300k in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based venture capital firm Comma Capital. The startup was also featured on Bharat Ke Superfounders.

The fresh funding will help TailBlaze launch its upcoming wet dog food product HeartPour, grow its team in Ahmedabad and reach more pet parents across India.

As part of its launch plan, the startup will offer a free serving of HeartPour to the first 500 dogs, giving pet parents an opportunity to try the product.

  • Founded by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura

Founded in August 2025 by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, TailBlaze Longevity is building products around canine nutrition and long-term health.

The startup aims to help dogs live longer and healthier lives through nutrition that is high in protein and lower in carbohydrates.

Its first major product, HeartPour, is a wet dog food range developed after around four years of research and development.

The formula combines high-quality protein and superfoods with an Ayurvedic PanchTatva blend that includes curcumin, black pepper, parsley, amla and tulsi.

  • Building Fresh and Healthy Pet Food

TailBlaze has also developed FreshTail, its own technology for producing fresh pet meals that can remain shelf-stable.

The company already has a portfolio of more than 200 products, covering organic dog food, natural treats and pet care accessories.

Its products include treats made using ingredients such as coconut, hemp, fish and strawberry, along with grooming products and other pet accessories.

The startup follows a WhatsApp-first commerce model and also sells through quick-commerce and online platforms such as Blinkit and BBNow.

  • Funding to Expand Across India

The new pre-seed funding will be used to strengthen TailBlaze’s Ahmedabad team and expand its presence among pet parents across India.

The launch of HeartPour will be an important next step for the company as it looks to build a larger nutrition-focused pet care brand.

The free trial for the first 500 dogs is also expected to help TailBlaze introduce the product and collect early feedback from pet parents.

  • Pet Nutrition Startup Space Is Growing

TailBlaze’s funding comes at a time when more startups are entering India’s growing pet food and pet wellness market.

For TailBlaze Longevity, the latest funding gives the startup the capital to launch HeartPour, build its team and grow its presence in India’s fast-changing pet nutrition market.
