Goa-based supplements startup The Stack has secured Rs 21.5 Cr in a seed funding round co led by Sauce, OTP Ventures and Huddle Ventures, with participation from AYRA Ventures. The company will use the capital to expand its team, invest in research and development (R&D), and broaden its product portfolio.
Founded in 2024 by Shreya Jain and Kshitij Rihal, Stack develops supplements using clinically studied ingredients and transparent formulations. Startup is building a focused consumer wellness brand around product quality, ingredient sourcing and repeat purchases rather than rapid catalogue expansion.
Latest funding follows its Rs 5.5 Cr pre seed round in January 2026, co led by OTP Ventures and Huddle Ventures, alongside angel investors.
- The Stack Reports 5 Fold Growth in Six Months
The company said it has grown 5 fold in the six months following its first institutional funding round. It is targeting 6 to 7 fold growth in FY27 over FY26, although it has not disclosed absolute revenue figures.
The Stack currently sells five products focused on sleep, gut health and functional health through its direct-to-consumer website.
According to the company, one in three customers places a second order within six months, while its top 10% of customers contribute 30% of revenue. Some customers also purchase subscriptions covering 6 to 12 months upfront.
These metrics suggest that repeat purchasing is an important part of the brand's business model. However, the company has not disclosed its customer base, average order value or profitability, making it difficult to assess the full economics of its growth.
- Research-Led Approach to Supplements
The Stack strategy centres on using globally sourced ingredients, working with specialised suppliers and maintaining a limited products range.
Rather than adding products to follow every emerging wellness trend, the founders say they prioritise formulations that offer a clearly defined benefit and meet their standards for ingredient quality.
This approach could help differentiate the brand in a crowded supplements market, where consumers must navigate competing product claims and varying levels of transparency.
The latest funding will support further formulation research and portfolio development. The founders are also preparing to expand distribution beyond their own website, including entry into large e-commerce marketplaces and, over time, additional channels such as quick commerce.
- Why Investors Are Watching Consumer Wellness
The Stack funding reflects an investment thesis built around product differentiation and customer retention rather than an extensive product catalogue.
For consumer brands, repeat purchases can help create more predictable demand and low dependence on continually acquiring new customers. In supplements, that model also places greater importance on product consistency, consumer trust and responsible communication of health-related benefits.
The challenge will be to maintain formulation standards while expanding distribution, product availability and marketing reach.
With Rs 21.5 Cr in fresh capital, The Stack has additional resources to pursue that growth. Its ability to turn reported customer retention into sustainable revenue, while maintaining transparency and product quality, will be central to its next phase.
