IT research and advisory firm Infotech has acquired Bengaluru-based SaaS startup Zluri, adding software discovery and identity governance capabilities to its newly launched CIO Analytics platform. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Announced on October 14, 2026, the acquisition is the first in Infotech 30-year history and marks a shift beyond its traditional research & advisory business towards technology-enabled services built around customers' operational data.

Zluri will continue operating as a standalone division, retaining its product development and core engineering teams in Bengaluru. It will also continue serving its existing enterprise customers while contributing technology to Infotech's new platform.

The deal gives Zluri access to Infotech's global network of more than 30,000 IT leaders, potentially widening its reach among enterprise customers.

  • Zluri's Technology to Power CIO Analytics

Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri helps organisations discover and manage software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, user identities, access permissions and software spending.

Its tools help IT and security teams identify unused subscriptions, track application usage and remove unnecessary or unauthorised access. These capabilities have become increasingly relevant as businesses adopt more cloud applications and AI tools, making software spending and access control harder to manage.

Infotech's CIO Analytics platform connects to organisations' IT systems through application programming interfaces (APIs), combining operational data with research, industry benchmarks, AI-assisted services and analyst expertise.

The platform launches with three modules: Service Desk Analytics, Application Discovery, and Identity Governance and Administration. Zluri's technology supports the latter two, giving CIOs a more detailed view of their software environments, access risks and potential cost savings.

The approach aims to connect advisory recommendations with actual business data rather than relying only on periodic assessments or general industry benchmarks.

  • Zluri Brings Enterprise Customers and SaaS Experience

Zluri serves more than 250 enterprise customers globally, including Razorpay, Amagi, Monday.com, Tipalti and Traveloka. The company has also built an international revenue base, with more than 60% of its revenue coming from Europe and North America, according to the supplied report.

The startup has raised more than $32 million from investors including Lightspeed, MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners and Kalaari Capital. Its most recent reported funding round was a $20 million Series B in 2023.

For Infotech, the acquisition provides established software capabilities that could take longer to develop internally. For Zluri, the opportunity lies in selling into a larger enterprise network while continuing to build its product from Bengaluru.

Infotech says it has grown by more than 340% over the past seven years and crossed $300 million in annual revenue. The company is now positioning CIO Analytics as a more connected model of IT advisory, combining software, data and human expertise.

The bigger test will be whether the combined offering can turn software visibility and analytics into measurable improvements in IT spending, security and operational performance. The acquisition gives Infotech a technology foundation for that strategy, while Zluri gains a route to a broader enterprise market.
