Bengaluru-based digital lending platform Moneyview reported a sharp improvement in its financial performance for Q2 FY27, with consolidated net profit rising to ₹200.7 crore from ₹38.7 crore in the year-ago quarter. This represents a more than fivefold increase in reported profit.
The company's revenue from operations grew 41% YoY to ₹1,120.2 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹794.2 crore in Q2 FY26, according to its consolidated financial results filed with the stock exchanges on November 5, 2026.
Founded in 2014 by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, Moneyview operates a digital financial services platform offering personal loans, credit products and financial management solutions through partnerships with banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
Including other income of Rs 25.4 crore, the company's total income increased 42.4% to Rs 1,145.6 crore from Rs 804.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Moneyview's Profitability Improves As Expenses Grow Slower
Moneyview's total expenses increased 24.5% YoY to ₹876.5 crore in Q2 FY27 from ₹704.1 crore in Q2 FY26, significantly below its revenue growth of 41%.
Impairment costs on financial instruments, an important expense for a lending business, increased 18.7% to approximately Rs 286 crore from Rs 241 crore.
Employee benefit expenses rose 41.3% to ₹97.5 crore, while finance costs increased 25.6% to ₹194 crore. Other expenses grew 24.6% to ₹298.5 crore.
The company's investor presentation also highlighted improving operating efficiency, with operating expenses accounting for 34.5% of total income during the quarter.
However, the reported profit growth needs context. Q2 FY26 included an exceptional loss of approximately ₹47.9 crore at its lending subsidiary, Whizdm Finance, related to a cyber incident. On an adjusted comparative basis, Moneyview's Q2 FY27 profit growth was approximately 169.1%, according to its investor presentation, rather than the reported 5.15-fold increase.
Loan Disbursals Reach Rs 7,701 Cr
Moneyview's loan disbursals increased 41.3% YoY to ₹7,701 crore in Q2 FY27, reflecting continued demand for its digital lending products.
Its managed assets under management (AUM) reached ₹23,892 crore, up 28.4% from the year-ago period.
The company also reported collection efficiency of 98.64%, while its gross non-performing assets (GNPA) stood at 2.42%, improving by 23 basis points year-on-year.
These credit-quality indicators are particularly relevant for digital lenders, where growth in loan disbursals must be balanced against repayment performance and credit costs.
Moneyview operates through a network of financial partners, including Aditya Birla Capital, Northern Arc, Vivriti Capital and Oxyzo, alongside its own lending operations.
Moneyview Reports Strong H1 FY27 Performance
For the first half of FY27, Moneyview's revenue from operations increased 45.3% YoY to ₹2,161 crore from ₹1,487 crore in H1 FY26.
Net profit for the six-month period rose 253.8% to approximately ₹375 crore from ₹106 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company reported a return on equity (RoE) of 27.9% in Q2 FY27, calculated on net worth including its IPO proceeds.
Sequentially, profit after tax increased 15.6%, while total income grew 7.6% over Q1 FY27, indicating continued improvement beyond the year-on-year comparison.
With higher loan disbursals, an expanding managed AUM base, and improving collection efficiency, Moneyview is strengthening its position in India's digital lending market. The next important measure will be whether it can sustain this growth while maintaining credit quality and controlling impairment costs.
