Indian auto-tech company Cars24 has brought Dubai-based premium used-car retailer Alba Cars into its wider global group, combining their operations to strengthen its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The businesses together retail more than 1,000 vehicles every month across the UAE, according to an announcement on November 3, 2026. The development brings Cars24’s automotive technology, financing capabilities and infrastructure together with Alba Cars’ established premium retail network and local customer relationships.
The companies have not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.
Cars24 And Alba Cars Combine Retail Operations
Founded in 2015, Alba Cars has built a presence in Dubai’s premium used-car market. The company has more than 200 employees, sells approximately 300 vehicles monthly and offers inventory across more than 20 automotive brands.
Cars24, also founded in 2015, operates across India, the UAE and Australia. Its business spans online vehicle buying and selling, financing, refurbishment and other automotive services.
The combination gives Cars24 access to Alba Cars’ established physical retail operations and local market experience. In return, Alba Cars can draw on Cars24’s technology platform, financing capabilities and wider operational infrastructure.
Alba Cars will continue operating under its existing brand, retaining its team and leadership. Selected support functions and infrastructure will be progressively integrated with Cars24.
Talib Alrubai To Continue Leading Alba Cars
Talib Alrubai, founder and CEO of Alba Cars, said the partnership marks a new phase for the Dubai-based business after eleven years of building its presence in the UAE.
Abhinav Gupta, CEO of Cars24 Arabia, said Alba Cars’ customer relationships, premium retail experience and understanding of the local market complement Cars24’s technology and infrastructure.
The companies expect the combined capabilities to support a broader vehicle selection, improved financing options and enhanced aftersales services. These are stated customer benefits; the announcement does not specify a rollout schedule or detailed changes to existing services.
Cars24 Looks To Expand Its Regional Automotive Footprint
For Cars24, bringing Alba Cars into its global group strengthens its position in a market where physical retail experience and digital automotive services can work alongside each other.
The combined monthly retail volume of more than 1,000 vehicles provides an indication of the scale of the UAE operations. However, the companies have not provided a detailed breakdown of Cars24’s and Alba Cars’ individual monthly sales beyond Alba’s approximate 300-vehicle figure.
The businesses plan to expand their retail operations, strengthen digital capabilities and invest in infrastructure across the UAE, with ambitions to grow further in the region.
Founded by Vikram Chopra and co-founders Mehul Agrawal, Ruchit Agarwal and Gajendra Jangid, Cars24 has expanded from its Indian roots into international markets, including Australia and the UAE.
The latest move adds an established premium retailer to its overseas business. The next measure of the combination’s impact will be how effectively the companies integrate their support operations while retaining Alba Cars’ existing brand and customer relationships.
