Travel experiences startup Bucketlistt.com has raised Rs 7.6 crore in a seed funding round led by Kairon Capital, with participation from Titan Capital, Divisa Family Office and Kunal Popat, founder of consumer products company R for Rabbit. The Bengaluru-founded startup plans to use the capital to strengthen its technology, expand its network of experience providers and enter more Indian travel destinations.
Founded in 2025 by Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai and Divyam Shah, Bucketlistt helps travellers discover and book verified activities, from adventure sports to curated cultural experiences. The platform launched in Rishikesh in December 2025 and is preparing to expand into Manali and Bir.
The funding comes as the startup looks to address a fragmented part of the travel industry: booking experiences at a destination, where availability, quality checks and operator systems can vary widely.
Bucketlistt Funding: Investors and Expansion Plans
Kairon Capital led the ₹7.6 crore round. Titan Capital, Divisa Family Office and Kunal Popat also participated. The company has said the fresh capital will go towards product and technology development, onboarding more experience providers, content creation, organic discovery and distribution partnerships.
The planned expansion into Manali and Bir will take Bucketlistt beyond its initial Rishikesh market. These destinations give the company an opportunity to build a wider catalogue of adventure and outdoor activities, while testing whether its booking model can work across different travel hubs.
Two Platforms Target Travellers and Experience Operators
Bucketlistt operates a consumer-facing marketplace where travellers can discover and book experiences. Alongside it, the company runs OkGhumo, a software platform designed for experience providers to manage bookings, inventory, agents, payments and daily operations.
The dual-platform model is central to its approach. While Bucketlistt aims to attract customers, OkGhumo is designed to help local operators manage the business behind each booking. If adopted at scale, the software could help standardise operations across a sector that often relies on manual processes.
Shubham Makhecha: Building Infrastructure for Travel Experiences
Co-founder Shubham Makhecha said the company is focused on the part of travel that remains less organised online: what people do after reaching their destination. He also said the founding team relocated to Rishikesh to work closely with customers and local operators.
The founders’ approach reflects a broader challenge for travel marketplaces. Listing experiences is only one part of the business; building trust, maintaining service quality and ensuring reliable bookings across independent operators are equally important.
Bucketlistt’s next phase will depend on how efficiently it can bring more operators onto its platform while building customer demand in new locations. Its combination of bookings and operator software gives it two routes to build relationships across the travel ecosystem, though the company has yet to disclose the financial contribution of each platform.
Previous Funding and What Comes Next
Bucketlistt previously raised Rs 1.07 crore in a pre-seed round, according to an announcement published in May-June 2026. That round included angel investors Arvind Choudhary, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri and Yash Mehta.
The new Rs 7.6 crore seed round gives the company additional capital to develop its technology and expand geographically. The key milestones to watch will be the pace of operator onboarding, bookings across new destinations and adoption of OkGhumo by experience providers.
For the founders, the challenge now is to turn a local-market foothold into a repeatable model that works across destinations without compromising the quality and reliability travellers expect.
