Adtech company Mobavenue AI Tech, formerly known as Lucent Industries, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹11.3 crore in Q2 FY27, registering growth of around 54% year on year against ₹7.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased approximately 41% to ₹76.7 crore.
The September-quarter performance reflects growth in both revenue and profitability for the company, which was founded by Ishank Joshi, Kunal Kothari and Tejas Rathod. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹0.10 per equity share for FY27, fixing November 13, 2026, as the record date.
Revenue Growth Outpaces Expense Increase
Mobavenue's total income, including ₹1 crore in other income, stood at ₹77.7 crore during the quarter, up approximately 42% from a year earlier.
Total expenses increased 40.1% YoY to ₹62.2 crore, compared with ₹44.4 crore in Q2 FY26. Supply and data costs remained the largest expense component, rising 34.6% to ₹44.9 crore. Employee benefit expenses grew 63.1% to ₹9.9 crore.
Profit before tax increased 49.6% to ₹15.5 crore from ₹10.3 crore a year earlier. Tax expense rose to ₹4.2 crore from ₹3 crore.
The company's investor presentation reported Q2 EBITDA of ₹16.2 crore, up 47.3% YoY, with an EBITDA margin of 21.1%. The net profit margin stood at 14.7%.
Sequential Profit Moderates Despite Revenue Growth
Compared with Q1 FY27, Mobavenue's operating revenue increased 5.3% from ₹72.8 crore to ₹76.7 crore. Net profit, however, declined approximately 3% from ₹11.7 crore to ₹11.3 crore.
The difference between the YoY and sequential trends suggests that the company continued to expand its revenue base, although quarterly profitability was slightly lower than in the preceding three months.
H1 FY27 Performance Shows Strong Growth
For the first half of FY27, Mobavenue reported consolidated revenue of ₹149.6 crore, representing 48.6% YoY growth. EBITDA increased 59.6% to ₹31.6 crore, while profit after tax rose 72.2% to ₹22.9 crore.
The company said international markets contributed 22.3% of H1 revenue, with business operations spanning 13 countries. It also cited demand from sectors including quick commerce, BFSI, fintech, entertainment, travel and commerce as contributors to quarterly growth.
Mobavenue Declares Interim Dividend
Alongside its financial results, the company declared an interim dividend of ₹0.10 per equity share for FY27. November 13, 2026, has been fixed as the record date for determining eligible shareholders.
The company also disclosed that promoters Prachi, Kunal Kothari and Tejas Rathod voluntarily waived their respective dividend entitlements on their shareholdings. The announcement did not specify a payment date.
Mobavenue's results point to continued growth in its advertising and consumer-growth business. The next measure to watch will be whether it can sustain revenue expansion while managing rising employee and data-related costs as it grows its international operations.
