Bengaluru-based enterprise AI startup QwikBuild has raised $2.3 million (around ₹22 crore) in a pre-seed funding round led by Japanese technology company Globalway, with participation from Blume Ventures, DeVC, Marsshot and angel investors Lalit Keshre, founder of Groww, and Ankit Nagori, CEO of Curefoods.

Founded by former slice executive Pradeep Ayyagari, QwikBuild develops AI agents and enterprise software designed to help businesses build, deploy and update applications with less dependence on conventional software development cycles.

The startup plans to use the capital primarily for go-to-market activities, including setting up a team in the US and expanding across Southeast Asia. It is also partnering with Globalway to enter Japan’s enterprise software market through a joint venture expected to become operational by the end of 2026.

Pradeep Ayyagari’s Bet on AI That Builds Business Systems

QwikBuild combines custom software development with AI-driven workflow automation. Businesses can use the platform to build applications from scratch, replace legacy systems or create custom software layers that work alongside enterprise products such as SAP and Salesforce.

Rather than automating only individual tasks, the platform aims to capture the business decisions behind those tasks and translate them into working software and automated workflows.

For example, a financial services company may need to decide which customers should receive calls, how they should be segmented and which scripts should be used. While a specialised AI tool might automate the calls, QwikBuild aims to help businesses codify the decisions that determine which calls should happen in the first place.

This approach could be useful for companies whose workflows change frequently and whose business teams often depend on engineering teams to modify internal software. QwikBuild says its platform lets teams build and test applications as their requirements evolve.

More Than 100 Enterprises Across Markets

QwikBuild says it serves more than 100 enterprises across India, Southeast Asia, the US and Dubai. According to the company, around 10-12% of its customers are large enterprises, while approximately 30% are smaller businesses that use the platform to deploy software without maintaining dedicated technology teams.

These figures are company-reported, and the startup has not publicly disclosed revenue, customer retention or average contract values in the funding announcement.

The commercial challenge will be turning its customer footprint into repeatable deployments, particularly among large organisations where software security, governance, integration and reliability are critical purchasing considerations.

Globalway Partnership Opens a Route Into Japan

Alongside its investment, Globalway has announced plans to establish a joint venture with Snow Mountain AI, the Bengaluru-based company behind QwikBuild. The venture is expected to obtain an exclusive licence to distribute and support the platform in Japan.

Globalway’s official announcement outlines a planned ownership split of 70% for Globalway and 30% for Snow Mountain AI after the staged arrangements are completed. The partnership is intended to combine QwikBuild’s technology with Globalway’s enterprise relationships and implementation experience in Japan.

The US and Southeast Asia expansion will give QwikBuild additional markets to pursue, while the Japan partnership provides a local route to enterprise customers. Execution will depend on the platform meeting the technical, security and operational requirements of each market.

For Ayyagari, the larger opportunity is to make business software easier to build and adapt as companies adopt more AI-driven workflows. The next test is whether QwikBuild can convert that proposition into measurable productivity gains and sustained enterprise demand.
