Founded by Amritanshu Jain and Devansh Ghatak, the Bengaluru AI startup will use the Series B capital to strengthen its inference platform, expand cloud partnerships and grow internationally.

Bengaluru-based AI infrastructure startup Simplismart has raised $14 million in a Series B funding round led by Dallas Venture Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax.

The company plans to use the capital to improve its AI inference platform, expand partnerships with cloud providers and sovereign AI initiatives, and strengthen its presence in North America and other global markets.

Founded in 2022 by Amritanshu Jain and Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart develops software that helps businesses deploy and run AI models more efficiently. The funding round reportedly values the company at around $100 million, including the new investment, according to TechCrunch.

Simplismart Focuses on the Cost of Running AI

Training an AI model is only one part of building an AI product. Once deployed, the model must respond to user requests quickly and reliably, while keeping computing costs under control.

Simplismart’s software sits between AI models and graphics processing units (GPUs), helping businesses balance speed, cost and performance. Its inference engine supports model deployment and optimisation, while its orchestration platform manages scaling across cloud and on-premises environments.

The company also enables cloud providers to offer managed AI services under their own brands using existing GPU infrastructure. Rather than buying computing capacity and reselling it, Simplismart focuses on the software layer that helps providers turn their infrastructure into usable AI services.

This approach positions the startup in a growing part of the AI ecosystem: helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to reliable production workloads.

Revenue Run Rate Grows 14 Fold

Simplismart said its annualised revenue run rate increased 14-fold over the six months preceding the funding announcement. Its customers include HeyGen, Higgsfield, InVideo, Shiprocket, Apna and Ema, which use the platform for video, voice, multimodal and enterprise AI applications.

The company has not disclosed the exact revenue figure. The reported run rate is based on recent customer usage rather than contracted recurring revenue and excludes revenue passed through to infrastructure providers, according to TechCrunch.

More than half of Simplismart’s revenue comes from the United States, despite having a larger number of customers in India, CEO Amritanshu Jain told the publication.

Fresh Capital to Expand Cloud Partnerships

The new funding will support further development of the inference engine and orchestration platform, alongside deeper partnerships with cloud providers. Simplismart is also working with NVIDIA on AI infrastructure deployment and aims to support sovereign AI initiatives.

For the founders, the opportunity lies in helping enterprises get more value from the computing resources they already use. As AI applications move into production, the ability to manage latency, reliability and operating costs will become increasingly important.

Simplismart’s next challenge is to convert its reported growth into sustained business performance while expanding its global customer base and cloud partnerships.
