Nutrition and dietary supplements brand Ace Blend, founded by Shivam Hingorani, has raised $9.9 million (around Rs 95 crore) in a Series A2 funding round led by 3one4 Capital, with participation from existing investor Fireside Ventures.
The Mumbai-based company plans to use the capital to fund clinical trials, strengthen research and development, improve supply chain capabilities and introduce new nutrition products. Its strategy centres on building scientific evidence and tighter quality controls in a supplements market where consumer trust and product claims face growing scrutiny.
Hingorani founded Ace Blend in 2018, with Saif Mehkri joining as co-founder in 2022. The company offers products across heart health, brain health, sleep, recovery, gut health, strength and immunity.
Clinical Trials and Automated Testing Take Priority
Ace Blend plans to conduct clinical trials through established contract research organisations, with the aim of publishing findings in peer-reviewed international journals.
The company is also investing in batch-level testing to check nutritional accuracy, pesticide residues and heavy metals. Its planned automated testing systems are intended to improve consistency and reduce the scope for human error in quality checks.
Ace Blend also intends to conduct shelf-stability studies at launch and six months later, building a longer-term evidence base for product quality and safety.
For Hingorani, the focus is on supporting product claims with scientific evidence rather than relying on marketing alone. This approach could help differentiate the brand as consumers increasingly examine ingredients, dosage and the evidence behind supplement benefits.
New Products and a Wider Nutrition Portfolio
Ace Blend currently offers around 14 SKU, including plant-based protein powders, superfood blends and functional health supplements. Its products are sold through its own website as well as marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto and Blinkit.
The company plans to expand into additional formats, including a formulation developed with a gut-health specialist, a product combining nutrients intended to address inflammation, an eye-health supplement and a fibre-based gut-health product.
Supply-chain development is another priority. Ace Blend plans to source raw materials from multiple countries while strengthening its vertically integrated model, which covers ingredient sourcing, formulation and manufacturing.
Ace Blend Targets ₹250-300 Crore ARR
Ace Blend recorded 300% growth in FY26 and has a repeat-purchase rate of nearly 48%. The company is targeting annual recurring revenue of Rs 250-300 crore over the next 12-18 months, with profitability also in sight.
The company’s website contributes around half of its revenue, with the balance coming from marketplaces and other online channels, according to the founder.
The new funding gives Ace Blend resources to invest in product validation and operations while expanding its reach. The next challenge will be converting that investment into repeat purchases, stronger distribution and sustained profitability.
For Shivam Hingorani and his team, the strategy is to compete on product quality and scientific credibility as well as convenience and branding. Whether this approach delivers a lasting advantage will depend on the evidence generated by its research, the consistency of its products and its ability to meet its growth targets.
